The sunlight breaks through the canopy of trees, falling onto the uneven stone road that lies before Emarilel and her wolf companion. A Bosmer and a large wolf that stands at about the height of a child at the shoulder would be a strange sight, perhaps even terrifying to some, but to the two, they do not seem to care. Another figure walks the same road as them, a female as far as Emarilel’s eyesight can make out. She is not wary; not yet anyway. The other looks harmless enough.
